Colorado building codes for roof replacement
Colorado has no mandatory statewide residential code. What applies depends on the jurisdiction that issues the permit.
Colorado's latest state building code, based on the 2021 IBC & IRC, applies to all construction by state agencies on state-owned or state lease-purchased properties or facilities and to buildings and structures within jurisdiction of Dept. of Public Safety, Fire Prevention & Control Div. (namely limited gaming structures, waste tire facilities, public schools, and fireworks storage structures).
