Oklahoma building codes for roof replacement
Oklahoma enforces a residential code statewide.
The latest edition of the Oklahoma state building code is based on the 2018 IBC and 2018 IRC, is mandatory statewide, and went into effect on 09/14/2021 (IBC) and 09/14/2022 (IRC). The previous edition was based on the 2015 IBC and 2015 IRC and was effective until 09/13/2021 (IBC) and 09/13/2022 (IRC). Oklahoma is in the process of reviewing and amending the 2024 IBC and IRC for adoption.
