Wyoming building codes for roof replacement
Wyoming has no mandatory statewide residential code. What applies depends on the jurisdiction that issues the permit.
The latest edition of the Wyoming state building code is based on the 2024 IBC. Wyoming requires plan review only for buildings owned or leased by state or local government entities, public buildings over 5,000 sq. ft., multistory public buildings, childcare center housing more than 10 children, public bars, lounges, restaurants, nightclubs, lodge halls, theaters, churches, or public meeting places. Wyoming has no mandatory statewide residential code.
